Parsley Apple Celery Smoothie | Energizing Green Superfood Drink

Think healthy when you take a sip of this delicious beverage. The superfoods in this beverage are rich in vitamins and minerals. I love picking fresh parsley from my garden for this recipe.

Parsley – contains vitamins A, B, C, calcium, and iron. Good for those with allergies and asthma.  Celery- rich in calcium and vitamin A. Improves digestion and is helpful for skin conditions.  Apple- rich in vitamin C and fiber. Provides flavor and sweetness for the smoothie.

What you need:

Ingredietns

2 stalks celery

¼ to ½ cup apple

1/3 to ¼ cup parsley chunks. Chop the parsley.

What to do:

1. Wash the celery, apple, and parsley.

2. Cut the celery and apple into small 1/3 to ¼ cup parsley chunks. Chop the parsley.

3. Put the celery, apple, and parsley into a blender. Add ½ cup water and blend on high.

what to do

Drink this smoothie for breakfast or as an afternoon snack. You will feel energized and ready to tackle whatever comes your way. Sometimes I add a small handful of blueberries which is so good. In summertime I add 3-4 ice cubes.
